Wrapping up the year

Hey there,

As the year comes to a close, I wanted to reach out to say thank you and Happy Holidays.

It has been an amazing year and I’m so grateful to have you in my world.

It means a lot that you read these emails, and it means even more when you occasionally write back. I know how full inboxes are, and I don’t take your attention lightly.

I’ve had a lot of fun writing The Subtle Shift this year and sharing ideas, observations, wins, flops, and lessons learned along the way. Showing up each week has been a real commitment, but it’s been an enjoyable and meaningful one.

As things begin to slow down, this time of year naturally invites reflection. The days are shorter, the pace shifts, and there’s a little more quiet built into the calendar. It’s a good moment to look back on the year you’ve had and to think ahead about what you want the next one to hold.

Whether you’re truly taking a break or still working through the final stretch of the year, I hope you’re able to find a few moments to pause, reset, and catch your breath.

My hope for you is that you finish this year strong and step into 2026 with clarity, intention, and steady energy.

Thanks again for being here, and for letting me be part of your year.

I’ll see you in a couple of weeks.

— Matt
